Rated E for Everyone - Reasons not availible, Actually they are, but I don't wanna run upstairs and grab the case. >_>
1-4 players - Funner with 2+
This was the only mario sports game people expected to be normal; Without super powers, Super golf swings, etc. Which we expect from the past mario sports games, soccer, baseball, golf.
^ When your ready to hit a power shot, your net will glow. To get it to glow you just need to hit the ball. There's 2 types of power shots, Long range, which if you use it you can hit the ball from anywhere, or the power shot, short range -- This is used when your very close to the ball, it blasts the ball to the other side making it almost impossible to hit. Each character has his or her own power shots. Example:
Diddy Kong has a Jet-pack dive bomb type move for long range, Mario has a huge hammer for short range, Luigi gets out his vaccum for long range, bowser burns the ball with his breathe and bombs it to the other side for long range, I think. it goes on and on, Many characters.
The game revolves around tournements, like most mario sports games theres fun-ish mini games, None as fun as mario party of course  We all know its nothing compared to Wii sports tennis, But before the Wii, This was good multiplayer family fun, Still is. I found it disapointing that there wasn't much of a storyline, At least soccer and baseball tried to fit in a storyline.
Graphics: What'd you expect for a Mario Sports game, I don't find them bad at all..
I don't really care for graphics though. 5/5 - It's clear, the power shots are awesome, and it gets the job done.
Sound: Like most mario sports games, the sound fx drives you crazy, not so much in this one, all you hear is cheering -- Mario going WAHOO or random gibberish from everyone else. 4/5
Gameplay: Well, Not much to say here. If your into sports then you'd find this fun but if you aren't you might play it for a while, then you'd go onto a different game. Tournements are fun and kinda challenging once you get higher up, unlike most mario games how the difficulty stays the same through-out. 3.5/5
Multiplayer: If you don't have a Wii, then this is as good as it gets, sure you can't run around swinging your arms, but you can still have fun. You can play doubles with your friends and battle it out! Like ping-pong, Except its tennis and your not playing on a table. 4/5
Overall: 4.1/5
